Back Amongst The Living

What a week it's been for us Southerners!! I swear every minute you are without power, internet and water feels like an hr! To say my week has dragged it an understatement. We were very fortunate & didn't sustain any permanent damage & our power was restored quicker than we originally expected. We had a lot of down trees and some pretty fierce wind! It was crazy. I remember Hurricane Katrina but these winds felt more intense for us.

With all that said, I have always made the joke that I could move to Alaska and live off the grid..... Yeah, HELL NO I can't!!
